2026 is all about the Six of Cups - we’re re-reading books, listening to Hilary duff, and eating bagel bites.

This is not my first Kristin Hannah book. I know her game. And yet, I AM WEEPING.

I need the narrator to stop butchering the pronunciation of hygge. Yes your posh accent is wonderful. But it’s no excuse for mispronouncing words when one of the characters is allegedly fluent in Danish 😭

I imagine this doesn’t have a higher rating bc people don’t like the anti-consumerism message.

How are you going to open the book talking about the devastation of trumps win, and then subject people to reading about trumpers like Roseanne Barr and Kim Kardashian?
Absolutely not.

I might finish this book. But I’m already docking it a star for referencing Lena Dunham for feminism.

Every time I read a book that discusses endo, I find that it incomplete in some way. This book isn't entirely focused on it, and research is still being done. But, I guess my thought it... Should I compile all of the known research and put it all in one book? lol. (also, this book does cover quite a lot of info still!)

also makes me glad to be yeeting the uterus. that thing is nothing but problems per this book.

Starting this book on a night that I’m lying on my couch with a heating pad bc my ovary hurts from being literally fused to my small intestine.

It just seems like it was meant to be tbh.

Finally, something enjoyable on my “currently reading” shelf.

This book is so boring. It’s lolly willow all over again.
