there's no plot. we just follow the lives of some people and some cats but nothing truly remarkable happens, which makes it hard to read.

I thought it was a good idea to start a thriller at 00.28 AM yesterday. I’ve stayed up until 3 and binge read 134 pages cuz I was too afraid to put it down. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Bree, honey, you’re acting like a bitch. You do not own Nathan. And you keep saying that his gf is being ‘witchy’ but you’re the one that comes into his house without knocking, acting all hostile like you own him just because your best friend loves her and not you. Get a life.

I expected a captivating thriller but somehow the writer manages to make a story about a crazy lady and a dead baby boring

Reading this in my Dutch class so sadly I’ll have to wait for my next lesson to continue reading it, but it’s really intriguing.

I don’t like how “creative” this is. Making him the god of illusion, making him not actually fight in wars but put illusions on the other gods- the titans even? First of all, it’s not true to the original myths at all, second it’s a weak excuse for him not being a killer so that we’ll like him more, and third: how the heck did a young god trick ANCIENT TITANS?? Yeah no way. This is stupid.

I really don’t like how quick this romance is. And I also kinda expected enemies to lovers but alr🤷‍♀️
