Farrell’s “barbell” model most accurately visualizes the wealth disparity I have witnessed after many seasons of work out west. Imagine income levels in Teton County are represented along a linear graph; not many folks occupy the traditional “middle class.” Between exorbitant highs and disheartening lows is a flat plane, a limbo… folks either struggle to live, or live immeasurably comfortably🗣️‼️
