genuinely why would i expect anything out of this book except what just happened

never thought i’d be crying over a digital dogs funeral in a book while at work. here we are

it’s certainly something so far

sometimes i really try to think of this as a true two-sided fight and then they say something like “they’re expendable so i prepare to spend them” about human beings and im back to hating the 1% with such a passion it’s staggering

1. i feel like this happened very early in the book 2. i feel like we’re getting over this VERY quick

okay obviously it wasn’t going to work but like THAT??

i expected nothing less but i’m still disappointed
