We learn a little bit more about the crew and the bizarre planet they find themselves on. Still plenty of mystery to unfold.

Wonder where this planet of folklore will take us…

The Infinite Improbability Drive is living up to its name, leading us to a very unlikely meetup between missed chances and family relations. I’m excited to see where this goes.

Stolen infinite improbability ships? Fortunate circumstances for our unlikely hitchhiking companions? A robot in a constant state of existential questioning? This chapter has it all.

I’m not sure if I enjoy the format of “zany chapter with many unexplained and wacky events happening all at once” followed by a brief chapter helping you understand what the hell just happened. But maybe that’s the charm of the book.

This chapter felt very D&D: Arthur and Ford took turns running persuasion checks on the Vogon until ultimately rolling their way into an airlock. It, of course, had to end on a cliffhanger, but I expect Ford has something up his sleeve…

Loved the entry on the babel fish. Poor Arthur now has to make sense of his lost home while dealing with newly-understandable space-faring beasts who abhor his presence on their ship.

Initially, I was quite confused as to what’s going on and the constant use of fiction that is never fully explained was slightly irritating. However, it’s all starting to grow on me and I’m quite enjoying how the story is unfolding. I also really like the little asides near the ends of chapters and the smart use of surreal humor.
