I think books with a clear narrative and 'plot' are the ones for me, but having entered a philosophy book club, I'll get through this - even if i suffer; though this might make a philosopher out of me.

Going by the first twenty pages I’m guessing that this short story will be about the absurdity of archaic justice systems - closely related to the next work I’ll read of Kafka’s; the trial.
Or maybe it’s about how a tattoo really hurts?

I’ve read at work, I’ve read at home, at my partner’s, in bars and cafes, even in the bathroom, and I’ve only come this far.
I knew Kafka was hard, but having read his work prior and having joined a philosophical book club, I though it would be easier.
I like it so far, but re-reading every page and sentence I am looking forward to be done.

I didn’t know the characters well enough to be sad about them being gone, but I know they meant a lot for Andrew - and him I do care about. So this short 20 page read made me a bit sad.

Fireworks are cool and all, but the Rosewoods and the rest of those morons in the fort - except for Cara ofcourse - can suck it.

106 pages in day one isn't bad?

I'm reading this because a tinder date, a guy like a lot, told me I should read this. And so far I like it a lot. It's very gay and very hilarious.
I know the book is set in a time period close to now, and that is seen in its many remarks and call outs to current events - like for example, the popularity of the celeb Tom Holland, or marvel movies and the like.
I like scifi, and this.

I like hospitals

I judged this book by its cover because it had a hole in it, and I really like that I picked it up now that I've come my ways into it.
This book is about nothing while still being interesting. I wouldn't think that I could get invested in a sick girl and her life, but I haw already learned that it is okay to love multiple people.
