okay, final sprint–I'm scared

That would be so anticlimactic and just for the sake of drama that I dearly hold on to my theory that he just didn't disclose his signet yet 🤞

Again with the heirs talk? I just checked to make sure how bc works in this world and I discovered lots of people thought V would get pregnant in IF bc RY has lots of kids in her other works? Idk about that but I don't like this foreshadowing of constantly mentioning marriage and heirs (normally don't have a problem with pregnancy trope but not like this)

It's 5am I need to sleep but I just... don't like this

I mean there are 2 more books, what else is supposed to happen?

4. Aaric will be King. If what happened to Haldens twin Cam was mentioned I don't remember it (in case it could be a Brennan situation) but I feel like Halden will die and Aaric has to reveal himself to take throne, bc it's something he doesn't want and that seems on brand

3. Xaden has a 3rd signet or gets a new one that's similar to his existing ones being a venin

I have some theories & I need to share them

1. Aaric has already manifested his signet but it's one that could get him in trouble (inntinnsic?) or would be abused by command
2. they will get married sooner rather than later. I feel like it's hinted at (boyfriend being a too casual term, duchess as a possible title) & to make sure Violet is on the throne & nobody else if (when) something happens to Xaden

Okay, so first few thoughts so far:
- the sisters all annoy me but my god does nesta take the effing cake
- I get why you'd think tamlin is endgame, making sure feyre eats & "spoiling" her with luxury (yes I read too much dark romance)
- what's up with the mask tho? still kinda new to High Fae stuff tbh
- and why the eff is sjm soo descriptive? my adhd brain can't handle that much side info & scene building argh

I can't be the only one who's enraged that a middle-aged man burdens a 17 yo girl - who's mental state isn't the best due to her past and isolation - with the task to get info from her former captor, that's also in love with her while a love triangle starts to blossom. Right? 😂

You know, I always think to much about the possibilities of a story and what plottwists just might live around the corner.

So my current thought is - especially after Juliette's chapter about being ordered to kill anybody she's told without question - that Omega Point isn't the refuge one would think. That ultimately Castle wants her for exactly that; a controllable killing machine who feels indebted to him.

This is hilarious and deep at the same time and I somehow can't comprehend that right now.

Adam seems just like so many other man who overestimate their abilities and end up hurting everyone else 🙄

Juliette wants to stay away from him because she fears she will hurt him - and does involuntarily - but Adam doesn't care about her just his own desires and needs 🫠

Not saying I ever liked Adam, but I sure begin to not like him now

Shit is about to get down. Wards are down, apparently venins have already infiltrated Navarre and from the content warning it's safe to assume that Violet's mother will die, but who else yk. I don't know if I can do this. I'm scared and definitely not in the mood to cry.

Tbh, I don't know how much of this back and forth in their relationship I can take. There are 3 more books to come, I sincerely hope they aren't struggling for most of them 😪

You know what I hate most about ow drama? The missing dignity. Like come on, he doesn't want you anymore because he loves someone else. Have some dignity and deal with it instead of pulling down a fellow woman when we should be fighting together, no?
