I love this specific type of series. Strong plot with incredibly unique and multifaceted characters, and a small side romance that drags out into multiple books. Absolutely perfect, I cannot glaze this series enough.

I’m SO tired of trails

I really wish this was hitting for me. But I’m sick of the trials and the lack of character development of the main character. Also the plot twists just aren’t hitting anymore. You can use multiple twists for the same thing over and over again, it loses value in the story.

I’m honestly a bit conflicted about this book. I love the mystery but also for some reason it just feels a bit flat to me. I wish they delved a bit deeper into each character.
