We discussed how the only way to experience love is to accept people totally as who they are and have no expectations of them. While it may be much easier said than done, it was the most loving approach possible.

A man came shouting angrily at Buddha, who remained unaffected by him. When questioned by others, Buddha answered with a question. “If someone gives you a gift and you choose not to receive it, to whom then does the gift belong?” It stays with the giver. So it was with words that were unjustly dumped, I stopped taking them on, and instead felt compassion. As those words don’t come form happiness.
