I am 1 page into CH 46 and I’m scared! Mixed emotions. I’m gonna have to pause this a million times just to react. 🥴

Book is kind of slow. Gives me the same vibes/ feeling as the first book from Sarah j Maas. Pacing is slow and feels like the “first episode” to a series. Easy to put down, losing my attention. Gothic horror with curiosity. More fascination and lust shared between the main characters than relationship building.
