i started this because i want something easy to pick up and not work my brain so much. it’s aight so far (given i’m a singular chapter in). the writing is very weird and sometimes annoying, but it’s managed to grip the attention of my little fish brain from the few info we know so far so that’s good. the secret has my curiosity and i just feel so bad for everyone. poor pilot. i’m too empathetic for this.

the malpais has had the most interesting interactions and reactions of the characters. such an interesting setting and world, so fun to read.

the helicopter scene over the ocean is my favorite scene so far that was actually so good. i’m really liking bernard rn and we’re about to see the reservation im very interested in that

probably the weirdest and most, abstract i would say, book i’ve read so far. feels like an evangelion episode half the time but i really like it, the early scene where we switched between like 3 different characters was really cool and well done. just finished the orgy porgy, idk wtf l just read (which is how i’ve felt half the time reading) but fuck it we ford
