It’s crazy so far, I can already tell it’s gonna get crazier with a huge battle coming up in nyc

Basically, Shirin and Ocean were so in love and they were hanging out a lot. But they were very controversial and things started to heat up. Ocean is a top notch basketball player but since people still have that awful stereotypes on Muslims, they don’t support it and it’s costing Ocean his basketball career. SHIRIN WAS FORCED TO BREAK UP WITH HIM. Ocean was literally begging to stay with her. It’s so sad 😭

Finally, Ocean and Shirini discussed why they were struggling to be together and they MADE OUT IN HIS CARRR 😭 it was so cute omg I love this book

I am seriously enjoying this book. One of Shirins teachers humiliated her in class for being Muslim and Ocean wanted to fight him 😳🤭🤭. OMGG it was so cute 😭

OMG this Ocean kid REEEAALLY likes her. He’s trying to get to know her more and is really trying to make Shirin comfortable around him. Shirin has been bullied throughout high school and she doesn’t know how to handle some liking her. They’re so adorable. 🤭

So far, Shirin seems to really enjoy breakdancing and she’s super physically fit (I think) because she’s doing hard dance moves and runs 10 miles before school every morning. Ocean (a boy who keeps talking to her) is TOTALLY into her. Shirin makes sure she doesn’t “have time for crushes” but like it or not she’s into him too. She just doesn’t understand her feelings for him yet.

Since it’s 12:21am, and I need to sleep, all I have to say is she’s into breakdancing and is enjoying a little bit of high school for the first time in a while.

Right off the bat the book is very interesting and they’ve already gotten right into the main problem in the story. The main characters name js Shrini and she’s being treated unfairly at school for being Muslim. This story takes place a year or two after 9/11 where there’s this awful stereotype about Muslim people.

I haven't given a description in a while, so I'll give one now.

Rufus is very kind to Matteo and is allowing Matteo to achieve all his goals before they both die. However, they are both stuck on the Meto Train in NY and the power went out. Matteo is freaking out, but Rufus comforts him. Again, I really think they're going to fall in love by the end of the book. It's sad that they're both going to die at the end.

Janina is getting more annoying.

I some people who don't like this book, and I guess I can kindaa see why... BUT I love this book. I think (so far) its excellently written from the perspective of a young child who's growing up in Nazi Poland. I can't wait to see what happens after Misha is in the ghetto.

Matteo and Rufus finally met, and I know Rufus is bisexual. I think Matteo is gay 🤓 never know though. I left off when they were going to Matteo’s apartment.
