in the beginning of wash part it shows us what I’m guessing is a page from the book song of the drowned gods showing the origin of each person and their call to the mission. is it also supposed to be a signify the characters of the book as well like the warrior=emory?

the biggest thought bubbles I’ve had so far:
what if instead of all drowning they actually travelled to another realm and that’s why when travers body washed up it wasn’t dead but preserved and when that happened he was pulled out too early or something happened in the other realm causing him to die and this is why they can’t locate their spirits the other realm could also just be a metaphor for death

Um ok. David’s short story was fine I guess but like are we serious. I mean the end of people being too consumed in the noise of the consumeristic world was good but otherwise it was just ok.

My favourite of Beth’s short story section was her first one where she talks about the forest beside her home she always visited as a child. It encapsulates perfectly the beauty as well as simplicity of nature and girlhood as a whole. I loved how it is extremely atmospheric and being engulfed as well as enamoured with nature.
