Just started chapter 39. I have a theory that Finch/gov agency do not want Katherine’s book to be released because they already know abt the human consciousness and have exploiting it for government purposes. To release the book would mean to push the knowledge of existence to critical mass and a massive advancement as a whole causing ineffectiveness of what I would otherwise assume is negative exploitation.
