conrad is so funny i like reading his point of view

belly hasn’t even turned 19 and she’s already engaged omg!! 😭 i appreciate how the show made her a little bit older (turns 21 in the show). the fact that she has only been dating Jeremiah for 2 years in the book and she’s stubborn enough to follow through with their wedding plans 🙄i cannot defend book version of belly because what is she thinking!!

after much studying, it is so wonderful and rewarding to have some time to read again!! that being said, i do feel that jenny han has taken a different writing style compared to the first book of this trilogy but i can’t describe it quite yet. i do enjoy it though

reading how belly broke up with conrad because conrad couldn’t say the words and break up with her gave me the worst flashbacks because this is basically what happened with my ex and i 😭 dude didn’t have the guts to end things so I HAD TO SAY IT. but it’s fine really

starting off 2026 with my new years
resolution of picking up a book for at least 30 minutes each day

i marked this as “want to read” exactly one year ago and today i started reading it!! just thought it was silly and kinda crazy how i started reading today when i bought the book like 2 months ago

i’m going to finish reading it because i only have 184 more pages left but i already know i’m going to give it a one star review

really good so far, it’s hard to put this book down once you start. i’m really loving Frankel’s writing, she’s a genius at crafting sentences that stick with you
