After getting halfway through a collection of poetry by Charles Bukowski, I needed some junk food.
This was very much sufficed, needless to say.

Not sure if Bukowski is for me. Appreciate the voice abd characterisation as always but the almost total absence of a narrative or a point makes reading him feel like a waste of time. Might give his poetry a go.

Struggled to determine how literal or metaphorical it was when it came to ‘the forest.’
Not the most entertaining read but it the premise and themes can be quite poignant.
‘Ice Dance’ by Danny Elfman echoed in my mind as I read the final pages.
