“they talked for hours over al dente pasta and wilted salad.” the way they used al dente is pissing me off bc it just doesn’t work in this context, al dente means perfectly cooked. why would they be discussing the perfectly cooked pasta and the wilted salad at the same time. like if they are trying to show how long they’d been sitting there it ain’t make sense 😭
