This isn't the main character but so disgusting bro
'Trust me, this is a great spot to do homework. Have you ever watched a woman run on a treadmill'
Like eww so gross why would you ever think that. Idk I've never been a teenage boy but so disgusting.

Omg the second hand embarrassment.... Like why do you say nothing when you should've spoken out. And when it was fine not to speak you say something hopeful and nothing true or useful to the situation. In fact it makes it worse because you are just digging yourself a bigger hole for when everything comes out

Chapter 16

Mission 56 was top tier so good mwah I love it sm I want more

Eating this story up

'I would not let a man who knew the value of nothing make me doubt the value of myself'

‘What I did not know was that I had hit upon a truth of womanhood: however blameless a life we led, the passions and the greed of men could bring us to ruin, and there was nothing we could do.’

Damn that’s deep girl

The inner turmoil that Thomas was experiencing around the same time as newt breaks my hearttt:(( like why did it have to be this way??????

Not the whole part about Thomas but from newts pov:((( man and the fact he still calls him Tommy makes me want to ball:(((

'Charlie moved in close. He tugged on a strand of my hair with his right hand, smiling down at me like we shared a secret, and warmth spread through me.
The coziness of the condo, the smell of the marinana, the grin in his eyes as we conspired together- it all linked up to make the moment feel like hot chocolate after a day in the snow.'

Her reaction to this internally is:
Lksjfskjksdsijkrsjsld
I love it:)

'It was almost too nice, like sunshine on a spring day. So completely wonderful that you want to stare and soak it up, but that only results in burned corners and impaired vision."

OMG it's so perfect, AND the fact she wears glasses describing Charlie is too freaking adorable. Lyn Painter really knows what she's doing and I'm eating up every little bit of it too:) ♡♡♡

I'm removing this book from my thing and I may try again later with rhis book but tbh I have so many other books to read this will not be a priority until Liberia or I'm extremely bored

Omg the TENSIONNNN!!!!! Also I love how Xishi has turned out, and become very badass. Love her and the manipulation of men reminds me of Nina and Jesper, also the same vibes as Jude although very different. I love how strong she is. In Chinese stories this is better than Six Crimson Cranes. Xishi>> Shiori even though we only get 325 pages compared to two 475 page books.

I've DNFed this book for the meantime. I'm leaving in continue reading because I do want to finish it but it's not the vibe for now or for the meantime but it may have won the battle but I will win the war.
(If I leave it too long I will forget what happened so note to self don't wait forever)

Linus and Arthur are freaking adorable and sweet I want what they have.
