The main character is transfering from his school to a rival school that everyone hates. They're trying to get him back to Whitman but he's pretty set on this move. From saying "My interactions in the neghborhood usually go one of two ways: either people trying to start something... or they try to put all this pressure onto me to go back to Whitman High."
