I'm not enjoying it so far. Paula is a hypocrite and thoroughly unlikeable. I've been trying to push through out of respect for the author, but I can't put up with it much longer. It's really disappointing.

Catherine is on page 88 of 317 of Shadow Heart (Broken Bottle, #1)

My first thoughts are that it's a pretty interesting look into the life of an abused, young girl. Our first looks are into what made her so broken and then we receive an interesting approach into how she heals herself, while trying to regain trust in the people around her.
I hope she rekindles her relationship with her sister and maybe that her father and mother get a shot at redemption as well.
