I’m really trying to enjoy this book. It feels like it’s dark just to be edgy and that comes across as dramatic and try hard. There are many clever lines. But for every clever line there’s another two vulgar and hyper dramatic ones and just barely enough plot for me to wonder how it ends.

This book is becoming exceedingly annoying. It’s equal thirds blatant lecturing about being accepting, women against women being utterly unlikeable, and a final third of witchcraft and plot. I came for the last bit and am irritated by how much of the first two were being served.

So… they’re a coven of “sisters” and not one of them’s a girls girl.
