I can't help but ask, When does he get abducted? The sudden affinity Ed has for the military is so bizarre.
They're trying to make it sound like, "He doesn't like the military. But they're his friends." And that can't exactly work when you have Ed's inner dialogue fluster at the mention of the military's short comings.

Ed calling Roy dad to fuck up his game is something I’ve read on wattpad a bajillion times.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about the last hundred or so pages. I got bored, but Grattan brought my interest back ten fold when he started describing the main character’s ailments, and his father. He knew how to strike me.

I put this one down for a brief moment. When I picked it back up, it was just as riveting and hopeful. I’m so excited to finish … but for now, I must continue tomorrow.

It’s been a long time since a book has kept me up. Too many, “one more chapter.” I’m anxious to know what’s next every time. I seem to second guess my predictions. When I think I know what will happen, that is.

My aunt read this and bought it for me. Not quite sure what to expect 👀
