Just a few chapters in and I’m already pulled in. I do wish we had a bit more time with Claire’s backstory — especially her marriage pre-divorce and how the situation with her ex’s boss and that contract came to be. It felt slightly rushed in the beginning. But overall? I’m enjoying it and excited to keep reading.
