Okay, I'm remembering things. I think a big reason Diem bothers me is that she literally will do something and then assume she doesn't trust people or they don't trust her and want nothing to do with her, but when she actually talks to those people it's all fine. People reassure her all the time. I would have been fine for book 1 (and was a reason she didn't totally bother me in book 1) , but here we are on book 3...
