Micaela is 70% done with Dark Harvest

OK, I actually really am not enjoying this book. It’s very hard to follow in my opinion and I feel like I need to be English class level analyzing the prose in order to get the most out of it - which needless to say is not what I’m looking for especially around Halloween. It is way too literary and I feel like everything is written (again) in this really flowery prose which unnecessarily convolutes the story.
