trying to inconspiculously read this at work but its kinda sus LMAOO

not my usual read but i'm enjoying it to be fair

its actually getting really interesting now that shes crowned queen although i dont know if thats just because i know whats going to happen soon and im incredibly curious!

Okay but why am I reading elegant prose and it's supposed to be from a 4yo perspective I feel like this child should not be conscious enough to articulate about fine silverware and household customs in their thoughts

Finally picking up the pace a bit when I was getting a little tired of it all

I've been eyeing this book for a while since I saw it on the book awards and I'm glad to get stuck in, I hope it lives up to the thriller hype

good lord i find the interactions between the characters and the interview segments almost unreadable they're all just so annoying. the prose and story is really interesting which makes me continue reading but like, the dialogue is insufferable jesus LORD

ngl, pretty uninspiring so far but it's at least a super easy read

randomly found a pdf online of the full book whilst burning time at work, i'm interested to see if i'll like his writing as much as everyone else does!

it's all getting a little high stakes atp, it's nice we're revisitng ljosland though! i like the scenery

lord this woman knows how to stereotype and make grand sweeping statements and assumptions about various people. like the story is entertaining then i remember its actually a memoir of things that happened and she is a real person and this is her thoughts TT

good god this woman is crazy and should've just gone to therapy and stayed home
