HOW do you come up with some of this stuff

This is not the book I thought it would be. I'm not buying his rather vague citations of cherry picked scientific studies

Man this is cool but man this is terrifying

Is this THE coziest book of all time?

How does ANYONE come up with this stuff

Getting into some VERY interesting speculation on the fact that the only way of perceiving the world we can imagine is our own
An alien antagonist with completely unfathomable motives would be ridiculously cool

Very frustrating that so far this book only imagines life as carbon based like you'd find on earth. Of course it would be different elsewhere. Dr malcolm said it best in jurassic park

Half price books had some heat

This is a hard read I don't know that this guy could get any more annoying

My unending thanks to the college library for even having this

For someone halfway through the book I have a marginally weak grasp on what's actually happening
Beautifully written though

This book makes fallout 3 look like a vacation

Book so bleak I can't read it more than once or twice a year

This is a long book. You might even call it a whale of a tale

ALMOST HALFWAY THROUGH

Not even halfway through man this book is humbling me

I feel like I'm reading a dictionary

See I really empathize with suttree here because while he's freezing to death starting fires in cars to keep warm I had to go get the mail today and it was kinda chilly

I only have a week left to finish this before seeing it in theaters for the 4th time
