“It’s good to see you, lemon” gave me chillssss! Such a good book, I am very invested!

Nog steeds erg leuk! Ik vind de verschillende type mensen die voorbij komen erg boeiend, Alex vind ik echter maar irritant. Ondanks dat ik geen kinderen heb en ook niet gescheiden ben, proef ik herkenning in het verhaal. Het doet iets met me.

Tot zo ver leuk, sommige dingen voelen relatable en ik heb helemaal zin om te kamperen 🏕️

Cute boek, maar gaat wel een beetje snel. Volgens mij speelt het hele verhaal zich af in de span van 2 weken. Dat is niet perse wat ik verwacht had van de “marriage of convenience” trope.

Ik moest echt wennen aan het feit dat er zoveel gescheld wordt en heb echt lang getwijfeld of ik wel verder wilde lezen. Maar ik kan het boek ook niet wegleggen.

I really like the short chapters and I also like the voices. When I was younger I used to read more about the same age group (teens, freshman/sophomores) but now I usually don’t so it took some to get used too. So far I like the storyline. However I am still not sure if finnie is death, disabled or still alive? I am guessing death but we will come to that.

Het is zoveel van hetzelfde maar ik vind het evengoed geweldig. En een heel fijne voorleesstem

Ik vind het echt heerlijk hoe makkelijk ik weer in deze boeken val. Het is geen rocket science maar gewoon echt lekker lees/luistervoer.

Benieuwd naar de afloop. Of samen naar LA of blijven in Westport

Begin is nogal hetzelfde als hooked alleen dan zonder alle moord. Maar wel hetzelfde idee. Zeker vanuit mannelijk perspectief. Stemmen van voorlezers zijn niet fijn voor in de auto.

It’s a lot of “do I like him” “does he like me” “does she want me” “I cannot have her” it’s a little too much. But still a fun ‘read’. The reader’s voice is very nice. It’s Lauren Sweet. I am, however, quite sad that their is not a male voice performer.

Not much to say about it for now. Just enjoying it

Amazinggggg so far. It somewhat unfolded earlier than expected and I love how it’s written. On one hand I don’t expect them to be together, I mean how could you after what Wendy endures. But on the other hand I want Wendy and James to be end game. I think that makes me just as sick as they both are…

The book is good. I have a love/hate relationship with James, like everyone else I imagine. I do wonder how it will play out. And some parts are quite predictable, like John is James and Wendy’s half brother and Rufus is going to die (which unfortunately did happen).
Like I said, interested to see what will happen.

Had er nog even geen zin in

Heftig!! Ik vind James wel een erg heftig karakter en ben benieuwd wat hem gedreven heeft tot deze daden.

Slightly annoyed by the fact he picks up te phone. He is dead, how does that happen? First thoughts are: she is in a coma, maybe one of his friends or that one girl is answering the phone. Or maybe it is his voicemail but that would not be believable. Besides annoyed I am also pulled in immediately.

I really like it. It’s a nice easy listen (audiobook) after the ‘court of’ series. However I keep waiting for “the other shoe to drop”.
