The books not bad but the spoilers killed it. Knowing a pregnant woman and her child would die and then being immediately thrust into it was rough. The husband seemingly went from NoHomo, to why the hell not let me get on my knees for you, awfully fast. Knowing a firefighter was going to be badly injured made me not want to get to that part. DNF but not cuz it’s bad.
