A comfortable yet thought provoking book. Really amazing how she was able to write a book like this with such a variety of sections, from brief histories to poems to mythos and more

I don’t quite get a lot of the poetry. It’s good, but I’m not catching many references and feel like I’m missing the meaning that the author is going for. It feels less open for interpretation at times than other poetry I’ve read

Stories are super short, with the longest being like 25 pages. I haven’t read too many short stories outside of school, so it’s very interesting. These authors are all really skilled, communicating a lot in a short time

Getting really confused by the million named knights and ladies. 90% of whom don’t matter but may get mentioned a second time. Also Gawan has met like 3 or 4 women who I think he’s said he’s in love with?? Very good though

Really interesting how dramatic and opulent everything is

Halfway through the book it just turns into basically a list of names and terms with a description of their origin. That’s cool but I’m not sure it’s really something I wanna just sit down and read.
