i'm not liking this so far tbf... there's no love development on james's end, his pov is full of "i want to kiss her", maddie is honestly so clueless to the point that it gets annoying, and the writing just feels .. detached. like she tried to replicate the flow she had in the previous books

i would dnf but i'm basically halfway through so dnf-ing now would kill me

finally starting to get more invested in thisss, now i can just hope that it gets better
