Hilariously insane title for a fanfic. I can already tell I’m going to love this if we stay on track here. Marriage law with dramione might be my favorite. And if you have a great Theo and Ginny from the jump I’m a happy gal.

Desperately need to finish this book today. Because the back and forth is BORING ME. Personality changes and issues and whatever the hell they decided to do to extend this book are pissing me off. I need a break after this and I’ll finish it in October before the series is complete.

I think this is the book where I start to hate everyone. Probably for the sudden inability to communicate with each other….but also maybe Farron needed some hate.

Surely, starting this first chapter from Farron’s POV is rage bait?

GAH! This book is sooo good.

Honestly from the start of this book I am feeling hesitant. We are skirting the territory of no longer fun and sexy but now I am anxious and there are legit villains running amuck. I’m scared!

Caspian might be the most well written morally grey character. I don’t know if I should love him or hate him. Truly.

Oh the Bennett hype is well deserved. This sweet, sweet, utterly lovely man. And Paloma, you sweet, sad girl.

This book is consuming me so much that I stayed up til 2 am to read it and then proceeded to dream about how the story could progress….

This book is honestly awesome. Diverse magic system, gods at play, lots of parallels with history and present day, and sooo much mystery.
The pacing has been exquisite so far and the dual POV is delicious. I have no idea what these secrets they’re all holding so close to the chest are and I am so eager to eventually find out.

I now know why this is different from all other books. This is much more literary fiction and so much less humor and romance. The romance is there and the humor comes in flashes. But I am hitting a wall here 😭.

Honestly, why did she describe this as something different from any book she wrote before? It’s not different at all! I really like this so far and (at this point) feel silly for not having read it yet.

Lord, let this be a book club book that exceeds all expectations. Sincerely, someone who never expected to read this and enjoy it.
