Never having watched heated rivalry I imagine this is the sweeter, less tragic, and far less horny version lol. I love the way Elle Kennedy writes, so obviously a fan. But this is my first Sarina Bowen book and enjoying her writing as well.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the reviews on the main page for this, because so far it’s good. Totally a grief-stricken widower—who has made questionable decisions regarding his life and family—but I find this delightful so far. Much less smutty than the previous series.

Lexi is hilarious. I die for Abby Jimenez’s side characters and how full they make her mains. I also love the chemistry that they bring to a story.
Also, can I say it is so nice to have a mini dog back in the storyline.
And another aside, Mike literally sucks. He’s obviously cheating on her and/or an alcoholic from page one sooooo….

Thank god for the new covers. But honestly this is well written so far. It kind of reminds me a bit of the stop over with the writing and the back and forth.

Trying to keep an open mind but it’s hard to read two self conscious idiots who like each other miscommunication over and over…especially after book 2.

Hilariously insane title for a fanfic. I can already tell I’m going to love this if we stay on track here. Marriage law with dramione might be my favorite. And if you have a great Theo and Ginny from the jump I’m a happy gal.

Desperately need to finish this book today. Because the back and forth is BORING ME. Personality changes and issues and whatever the hell they decided to do to extend this book are pissing me off. I need a break after this and I’ll finish it in October before the series is complete.
