The voice of Tairn is not the voice I had in my head when reading it.

When she meets the guy her dad's age for a one night stand in a pub/restaurant it reminds me so much of Shephard by Piper Stone. I think it even has the same old man on the front cover!

This is so slow. By chapter 4 all that's happened is her new husband and dad died, she gets a job at a college where women aren't welcome.

Page 153 and I'm loosing the will to carry on. It's so boring compared to the first book which was funny
