Wow, just wow. This book is beautifully written, the phonetic spelling surprisingly doesn’t slow me down, it’s like another language that’s able to be picked up in two pages. I’m so invested in James, the dream sequences are amazingly well done, I think I might be in love.
I’d say it looks like this will be a five star read, but that’s inadequate to how much I love it so far.

Okay, why is this narrative style so difficult to read?? My reading speed has been like cut in half.

I wish people would stop inviting me to polls when the poll maker is homophobic, and it’s starting to feel like all of them are 😭

First book I’ve gotten from a library, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to kick this new method of getting books off splendidly.

I really liked how the punctuation got messy in the letter she wrote when she was young! Made it feel very real. And I also like the vehicle of characterization through what the siblings wrote to their mother when they were away from her.
And the girlfriend… I can just feel the conniving parts of her so subtly it’s even more unsettling.

What book should I read next?? It’s gotta have a wlw subplot or main plot but that’s the only requirement!

It’s really good, the similes are really unique, which I appreciate over generic ones any day. The characters all feel well lived in and individual. I cannot wait to write a review for this book!

I’ve dedicated so much time to this, and I’m going into a bookish depression. I cannot finish this or I will start crying (not in the good way). I’ll circle back to this when I’m mentally stronger. Anyways… on to something else!

I’m really pissed off at the book right now. A third act break up? Too cliche for my liking, especially when I’m reading this mostly for the characters and romance. If I wanted a romantic tragedy, I’d read Romeo and Juliet. The ending better be good to make up for this. Because I’ve really liked the book, until this point. They’ve had tension, but always kept it together, not so much anymore.

Okay, this is actually so good. I was wondering how there were going to be any conflicts that weren’t just internal, but it’s actually really fun and I’m really excited to see how it shapes up!

What is it with vampires biting PILLOWS? Favorite things vampires like to bite 1: humans 2: pillows. I honestly can’t care about the typos anymore, this is too much fun to care

The typos are a little too consistent, I think I can hear a bit of me dying when I read “our” is substituted for “out” and “teef” rather than “teeth” or “meant” rather than “met”. I still really like the characters and story, so I’m willing to over look it.

I really like the characters, but the mention of purple eyes gave me wattpad flashbacks lol.

Just started reading, I love the ‘not AI, created by a human’ sticker at the top of the cover!!
