love scene w/ zuri and tau came as expected, enjoyed that.

i definitely understand tau’s frustration with jayyed and his plan for peace, but i think tau is being a hypocrite… remember sir, you wanted to fake an injury to live a life of peace with zuri.. so his reaction to jayyed is interesting lol

after all the shit i said about uduak, he’s come around.

there was a camaraderie between them and a nice connection made for the “demon” reference that turned into a friendly moment/nickname.

him and zuri are cute together, i wonder how he plans to use the information he gathered about traveling to isihogo and how it’ll be used

i find it interesting uduak is holding tau’s aggression toward him against him… when quite literally when the tables were turned you did almost kill Tau and tau’s survival was the only reason you made it through.

now suddenly tau is stronger and just beat you severely (BECAUSE TOU REFUSED TO CALL MERCY) he has a demon in him and you’re upset.

uduak is a bitch, simple.

very bold of the ambassador to want to bring dana in AND ask/demand a favor after what she did/was responsible for.

i’m intrigued by katherine’s theory tbh and loving reading about it.

feel bad for the night watchmen and what’s possibly gonna happen to him - hopefully jonas, alex, and the watchmen live lol.

i figured the golem was protecting sasha and that the wasn’t a mystical creature but a deranged person acting as a monster from a story.

very pleased with the pacing so far, this is actually the third book of Dan’s i’m reading and have no complaints.

loved da vinci code, dnf’d angels and demons (personal reasons, not due to quality of the story), now secret of secrets and im just excited about the learning.

i’m taught something, given a quote, and pulled a new concept of thinking from dan every time i crack open a novel.
