I'm getting close to the end. But the end of the year is coming closer than the end of the book. Can I do it? Can I do it?

Just as with Hamilton it is wordy but worth reading. O have made it past the pictures

I am enjoying this book immensely but there is a glaring error that the author and/or editors should have caught. Catherine sits down at the harpsichord but then starts moving the pumps. Harpsichords have quills that pluck the strings for sound. An organ of the time would have had pumps that moved bellows to produce the sound. This had to be an organ as mentioned by the Capt. not a harpsichord as insisted. Sad.

Why are there new characters still being introduced over halfway through this book. I wanted to live it but am probably not going to finish it

I am not sure my life is long enough to force myself to finish this one. One more read on the train home and if I am not gripped with huge desire to find out the end of this non-plot "story" I am putting it down.

This is actually pretty good but I am taking a little break to read something a little faster paced. I'll be back to this one soon.

After two gut wrenching, emotionally wringing books I need something light hearted.

Honestly just started this today. I am not sure I will make it all the way through. If I do not, it will be emotional,, not because of the authors.

There are only 88 pages left but I only read this far because I was on a train. Switching to something else
