okay, the second half is a DRASTIC improvement from the first half of this book. we switched from “oooh we’re both hot n sexy and everybody wants us and also there’s an investigation” to the vibe now being “we’re actually making progress in this investigation and we actually kinda find each other hot n sexy” 😛
