I think that the Shepard king is going to somehow take the current king into the forest and use the current king as a sacrifice to make things balanced. Then I think Ravyn will become king because he is the true heir to the throne based on bloodline.

The nightmare is talking in rhymes and it reminds me of the grumpy old troll from Dora the explorer. I hope someone else has had this thought as well.

Now I know I am not tripping… Miss Morgan needs to have a convo with her editor because this book is MESSY. She’s spelled Zachary’s shortened name “Zach” and “Zack.” Let’s get some consistency sis.

For anyone that has experienced a loss so big that it leaves you shattered, this book is just going to keep shattering you. I cannot stop crying 😭😭😭

I’m a disaster reading this book. So full of grief and the process of grieving and how complex of a process it truly is. Such a heavy book but I’m loving it.

Not sure if this book is going to destroy me or make me mad that I have to revisit the shattering that was book 1.
