this is so well-written and incredibly interesting, i got hooked and binged like half of it

i'm actually quite enjoying this, i love the tension

this book is loooong and the enemies to lovers plot has us still firmly at questionable enemies but i'm kinda vibing with it

this is written a little like fanfiction though

they're having a fairly peaceful and happy life in Brazil...do they really miss Europe that much they want to return?

this is like "disappointing men: a novel"

their relationship is so toxic i want to bang my head against the wall

didn't love heath's petty streak, but I think he finally understands her. she is stronger than me though, it probably would have taken me longer to thaw out and be kind to him again

THAT PART. he supposedly loved her, but couldn't change small things to help her reach her dream. but he can do it for some girl he didn't grow up with? he's a loser

this whole book feels like her ex best friend and ex boyfriend bullying her and hurting her in any way they can think of...like why

if this whole book is going to be about a man ruining a woman's dreams i will crash out

feeling like i relate a lot to the main character, and also REALLY not vibing with her skating partner/boyfriend. i've never been a fan of a bitter and jealous type and if he really cared for her he would act better about her literal dream that she is living out right now. he would be there for her more, rather than being angry with her all the time

this feels interesting so far, definitely grabbed my attention from the start. not sure how i feel about the writing yet, but the plot at least feels semi-original and compelling enough that i want to find out more of what happens
