Wow I’m surprised I didn’t expect for Tricia to be PL and for her to have killed her husband and friends. This is actually a good plot twist. I’ll see what happens in the last couple of pages but I’m surprised.

So far I’m really convinced Ethan is EJ like it just makes sense. I think the other person who’s probably living in the house is Dr.Hale and she’s been scared to leave the house because of EJ but idk. I’ll have to see.

First Prediction: I think EJ the crazy patient of Adrienne is Ethan (Tricia’s bf). When hearing the physical description they seem similar, and their habits are starting to link up. And like the names seem similar as the E in EJ could stand for Ethan.

So far I’m still pretty early in but definitely seems like a trippy book. I do feel interested in it though and so I’m hoping it remains that way.

Honestly has kept me really interested. There’s a lot of alluding to secrets and things. Although from the jump I can tell our main character is crazy and obsessive.

I’m finally at the point where I can see the two stories starting to connect. I’m super excited and cannot put the book down.

I’m definitely getting more interested in the book. I want to read it and the plot is getting really good. Still wondering how they’re going to tie in the characters we met more in the beginning but I guess I’ll have to keep on reading to see.

It’s ramping and I’m starting to get more interested in what’s going on. I like that it’s written in 3rd person definitely makes it easier for me to follow. I’m scared that either Avery or our main character Luke is going to die. And I’m still waiting to see how they will bring in the night knocker to connect to this plot line.

Currently, I'm a little confused cause it seems like I'm following two characters with two different plot lines, but I'm hoping they connect.

Adji B is reading No One Cares About Crazy People: The Chaos and Heartbreak of Mental Health in America
It took me a really long time to start to enjoy this book. It’s a braided essay which goes between just facts and a personal story about the author’s own connection to schizophrenia. I feel like the beginning character are very fact heavy and we don’t get to see a lot of personal stories within them, but then closer to the end we see more of the author’s personal story. I think the writing style is very good.
