Ya know this is real good so far. Giving vibes of that one show that I liked that I forgot the name of that was good.

At first this shit was grim as fuck, it still it, but damn the way the stories coming together is so gas. War grim dark fantasy is good so far.

Listening to this on audiobook format. The beginning again was tough to get into. That may be because I kinda zone in and out of listening while driving but now I am pretty well into the story so I’m invested. Seems to be told as a story from POV older man. Some odd magic system is at play im not really sure. Little kids getting beat on tho. Sad!

They’re stacking story plots brother. Things are NOT going to plan and I’m here for it. When some plan goes awry the group has to adapt and figure out what to do. Good thing their entire lives seemed to build up to this from the various flashback story interludes. So far it’s a good book,getting better the more I read. The beginning was kinda slow

Got pasted the good character intros it seems, a nice group of lads in NYC. Stuffs getting deeper. This shit better make me bawl my eyes out. I yearn to feel something

Books alright so far, just getting some heist setup it seems. Good fun. It’s taking a bit to get used to the style of how this author writes. Sometimes there’s like two paragraphs of description that i don’t follow, maybe I’m dumb. Usually I like long descriptions of areas for world building.

The lads had his training arc and he’s now in school. Things really spiced up in this last couple chapters. Feels like this huge secret or something is being hidden from us and they’re teasing it out in such a way where I can’t put the book down. Somethings odd about these ruins ya heard

Mmm this books got me turning m pages like I’m churning butter. The magic system is unlike any other I’ve seen before, and it plays into the society they got set up. It’s giving quite the red rising vibes maybe. Excited to read this
