Red flags...

I don't know if it's a stylistic choice or what, but what's with ALL the typos? Even every single picture has typos in it. It HAS to be that he leaned into the slapdash unedited "style". There are times when some sentences are unintelligible.

1. Social justice puff piece. Very disappointing.
2. It doesn't have the same magic as the last ones.
3. Carter Pillar's introduction made him out to be a child, truly. Not childlike but childish. He uses a word like a child treats a new toy: "social construct".

So far, I am not impressed. Just finished all the old stuff. This is an unfortunate follow-up.

Taking a class with online resources added to this, but the book is made to be a self-teaching, or self-evident, resource. Not sure if I could really do it, but there are a lot of people who have used this online that there are means to muddle your way through this if one was so inclined.

This man is working very hard to rationalize Christianity to his own aims. It's like he cut Christ out of the pages and glued the whole book on the wall so "it looks right". Hellbent on agnosticism and an openness to all schools of thought, he makes it an unspoken maxim that he cannot be tied down by one for fear that it would stifle the truth. Still, he has SOME interesting notions.

It's basically magical AI evolution. Not a selling point...

Took him long enough. Two thirds in before we got to the good part.

Repeats Grendel material word-for-word. Disappointing to see that he could conjure a magical world but not new writing material...

Stuck in the Council of Elrond, knowing it's a big deal.

We need this man in the church today. He is carrying out God's work and living as if he will die tomorrow. What an example.
