whew what a roller-coaster

kinda funny in a weird way how i can relate to this girl when it comes to having almost no relationship with her mom, feeling distant from her sister, and finding the smallest bit of connection with her father... the world was literally crumbling over her head, and yet she had to deal with the pains and frustrations of growing up (without any certainty that she would ever become an adult)

i'm already starting to feel the desperation 😔

i love how she is unapologetically herself and doesn't really care for what people think about her... and being that mature at 13-14 years old? anne had a lot of lessons to teach the older people around her and i hope everyone can still reflect on how important it is to have that kind of mindset even today

unlike the author, i have so many things to say...
