just thought of this but what if — and this is a BIG what if, crazy theory:
maria actually is the DT killer and she killed all those women because she was obsessed w/ her son bc she just wanted him to never leave her and thus she killed the women that would get very close to him and THEN she framed him bc she was like "if he's in prison, nobody else can have him" or wtv
