As it turns out I remember a lot more Spanish than I thought which is pretty cool, but the lack of quotation marks is killing me

Some quotation marks would be great. I really do not enjoy when authors feel the need to stylize their writing by removing punctuation from dialog. It's wasn't even interesting when Hemminway did it. Plus with the accent writing and the amount of Spanish in the book it makes it a very difficult to follow read at times.
