I feel like I’m torturing myself reading this. Like absolutely struggling to get through this one. Potentially because I did start it a while ago. Do it feels a bit like rewatching yearly training videos at work. But odd because I’ve never had an issue rereading other books. LOTR and Twilight’s series are nearly imprinted in my brain. Wish me luck

I don’t even know if I know what’s happening in this book yet. The multi POV is something I rarely read anymore but I’m enjoying it.
I seen a comment about how this world is harsh to children. I get that already- I mean you get that in the first page. But I’m starting to see that it’s commonplace. This whole world is disturbing and I’ve barely scratched the surface .

I finally pulled this book off the shelf to read. It’s not my normal romantasy type, but I am into it!! I will likely regret how late I stay up reading this tonight 😭 but the suspense is killing me already. I need to know what dark secrets lay ahead.
