Just finished “book 2”

Definitely some unnecessarily long parts and comic booky writing. Some really good parts, but not sure if they’re enough to overcome some stupid stale stuff.

Just finished book 1 of 3 so I’m leaving a progress report for once.

I like a lot about this book, especially King’s characters. There’s like 4 main characters and a whole cast of minor characters. All of the main characters are pretty interesting, and I like the diversity of location and perspective they give.

However, there is a lot of “build up” for the truly good stuff I think is coming. We’ll see
