It's so horrifying, it's ... I don't have the words.
I want to keep reading to honour the memory of these people but the details are so gruesome and the actions of the Japanese are unfathomable. It's starting to feel impossible to read the next sentence

WHAT A COW!

Gobsmacked. What on earth...

I started this book 4 months ago and still can't finish it. It's so bleak and sad that I have to digest only a chapter if that at a time.

One of the most unique books I've ever come across

I am 2 pages in and so happy to be back in this world. I will read any and every book she writes about characters from the Hunger Games.

Ms Aveyard really loves to use the word bronze

Only 22 pages in and I'm bored AF.
The author is very knowledgeable but goes on endless tangents that all I know about Grace right now is that she may or may not have a brother and she perhaps may have had short hair.
However I do know that shop keeps spoke Latin and Henry VIII was becoming more interested in Ireland, the layout of castles and random little towns that did trade.

Started off strong, starting to lose steam

Struggling to find the will to finish this book. 50 pages left, only 50 more pages.
