The characters are unbearable and I’m so close to just sparknotes-ing it and calling it a day. Good lord.

I loved cerulean sea but this one feels like not much has happened in the first 128 pages besides Wallace being dead and incredulous about it the whole time

Do not recommend listening to the audiobook… the author reads it and I’m 3hrs in and just put the digital copy on hold at my library. The author reads it and no offense but I didn’t know someone could read/record a book in a monotone like that…
