Whoa - I almost done! Currently at Hebrews 4. The page count is actually 1469 - the rest is just Greek/Hebrew word dictionaries.

Luke 19 - Romans 2
Most of my life I have seen baptism as just something you do when you become a Christian to show outwardly your new faith. However, I now realize that it is much more. If all it were was to show others you are a Christian, Cornelius' household would not have needed to be baptized (they already had the Holy Spirit come upon them to show their conversion) nor the Eunuch (no one around)

Ezekiel 41- Luke 19

Yowzers! It's been a long a long time since I updated.

Jeremiah 18 - Ezekiel 41

I wonder if the temple described in Ezekiel 40 fits the specs of Herod's temple?

Isaiah 15 - Jeremiah 18

Isaiah was another slow book for me. Jeremiah is my favorite, so I am hoping I will be able to catch up.

Ecclesiates 1 - Isaiah 15

Psalm 102 - Proverbs 31

It is difficult to push through Proverbs quickly. However, Proverbs is a great place to start a daily reading habit. If you begin in Proverbs 10 reading one verse each day, it will help you develop the habit. Since one verse a day doesn't take long, but in Proverbs you can still get meaning without worrying about context, it works well for developing the habit.

Psalm 50 - Psalm 102

Job 32 - Psalm 50

Job 21- Job 32

Job 3 - Job 21

Ezra 10 - Job 3
My goal is to finish Job by the end of the week and start Psalms. Job probably 2nd or 3rd favorite for me.

2 Chronicles 16 - Ezra 10 Thankfully, the end of 2 Chronicles becomes much more interesting. Now I need to catch up so I will finish by the end of the year. I told my husband I wanted a Chronological Bible to read for next year (Christmas). Reading the Bible this way is slow and confusing.

1 Chronicles 16 - 2 Chronicles 16 Slogging through Chronicles, which is much slower than I remember. This is the first time I have read the Bible in the order it is written so I think that has something to do with it. Normally, I read it chronologically, but that would be difficult to do while tracking it on Goodreads.

2 Kings 1 - 1 Chronicles 16 (Sorry I have been reading but not updating

1 Kings 17 - 2 Kings 1

2 Samuel 24 - 1 Kings 17

2 Samuel 16-24

2 Samuel 7-15

2 Samuel 5,6

Just began 2 Samuel.

I've been sick so I haven't been updating.
